About the Club

Texas Plowboy Logo

Founded in 2008 by a handful of tractor lovers, the club has grown in members, activities and interest.

We are a family oriented, non-profit organization, with a focus on the preservation and display of equipment, information, documents, and artifacts relating to the invention, development, and use of farm tractors, related implements, equipment and primitives.

We endeavor to teach present and future generations about the use of antique tractors, implements and farm equipment.  We demonstrate our equipment at work in many shows and displays.

The Denton County Antique Tractor, Farm Equipment and Primitive Club has NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION 501(c)(3) status with the IRS.  The Club's IRS Employer Identification Number (EIN) is 90-0391460.  All donations given to this organization are recognized as TAX-DEDUCTIBLE charitable donations for the individual by the IRS.

Monthly meetings are held on the second Thursday of each Month at 7 pm, normally at El Chaparral Grill in Denton, Texas unless otherwise indicated on the club calendar.

Vision Statement

The Denton County Antique Tractor, Farm Equipment and Primitive Club is a non-profit origination formed to promote appreciation of agricultural history and preservation of our rural heritage.  We do so through the restoration of old tractors, engines, farm equipment and related items that were used in the farming industry by the past generations.   We also build an awareness of our Agricultural heritage by showing these old tractors and equipment at work in local displays and shows.

The Club organizes annual shows, charges admission, sell memberships, accept donations, etc. to raise monies to fund the club operations, charitable & educational goals.

The Club has established and awards educational scholarships to Denton County High School graduating seniors that meet the defined scholarship criteria.

The Club hopes to work with public and private organizations, as well as individuals, to establish a Farm Heritage Museum in Denton County to provide a local resource for educational displays and farm demonstrations.

Club Dues

Club Annual Dues are $25 per year

Membership Insurance Benefit

In this day and age, anyone putting on an engine/tractor show needs to be insured for protection from lawsuits which may result from a spectator being injured at a show.  Part of your annual club dues covers your Early Day Gas Engine and Tractor Association ( E.D.G.E. & T.A. ) insurance coverage.
